Hello,

I working on an animation using forest for placing people in a mall. I need to turn forest to the custom edit mode for the final tuning. when forest is turn in edit mode I have render problem with the opacity of the people material (noise in the alpha) see image.
I use vray

someone have an idea?

Theorically, there is not difference between generate and custom editom for the material.  But checking the image, it seems a coplanar faces issue.

Please, check if for some reason there are two overlapped planes for those billboards.

Thx foR your response! I have check, there is no overlapping face. Only 1 face wirh double sided matérial. One image in the diffuse slot and one in the opacity.
I have "slove" the problem by using a forest for each level (one for the ground floor and one for the 1th floor) before there was one forest for 2 level

Thanks for the file. As i though, there are coplanar items in the 1th floor. You can check it entering in the sub-object mode, selecting a plane and moving it... there is a duplicate item in the same position.

Probably they were created by some copy operation, because the items in the ground floor are correct.
