Trees not rendering

hi I'm having some issues and need some urgent help. Suddenly my trees have stoped rendering.

I have a forested hilside that references 6 proxies and although the forest appears fine in the viewport it doesn't render at all.

I have other forested objects (grass amd bushes) that render fine. I have checked layer settings, file paths and through all th forest pack setting but I can't get them to render.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? thanks

Please, just after rendering, select the Forest object and click General->Forest Stats. If there is some problem with this object, the dialog box should show more information.

If not, try to isolate the problem, for example using a teapot instead the proxies or rendering the Forest object in a separate scene. Once you have a simple test scene, send us the file and we will check it.
