Hi Carlos Great plugin we are getting some amazing results.

I am currently having a problem when using Planes Look -->Planes Surf -->Planes object. where the horizontal shadow plane is not moving up the tree properly.  The problem is that when offset is 0 they are all the way down at z = 0 instead of at the base of the vertical plane

Well, i just done some tests and it's a bug of Planes Surf... but nobody have reported it before.

I have written a patch to fix it. Please, try the attached beta plugins. If all runs fine, we will release it for all users.

This version also fixes a problem in Forest, when using Custom Meshes that have multiple UVW maps.

Hi Carlo

You are a genius.  Thanks for the quick work.  Seems to be working fine.

I have also attached an image from an animation we are working on that.

We were wondering how difficult it would be to paint, (or use spline control) with soft select, material IDs within a forest object.  What we are aiming to do is to is create a density similar to the attached image.

Thanks

Steve Brodie

Hi Steve,

It's a good feature for next versions of Forest, although a bit complex to implement... i put it in the wish list.

By now, you can do it with some Forest objects: A material spline may be used to define an excluding area in the main Forest object, meanwhile is used too for other Forest with different parameters (ID material, for example).
