Christian Hillebrand of vis-art.de created this fantastic forest river scene to explore the capabilities of Forest Pack Pro and Phoenix FD.
For the vegetation I used five Forest Pack systems. Paint Objects mode was used throughout, which gave me full control over where to distribute vegetation for each of the systems.The vegetation in the scene was spread across 5 Forest Pack objects as follows:
1 - Trees, bushes, Rocks.
2 - The large grassy areas with a painting subsystem inside to control the lower areas near the water...
3 - The foreground and underwater moss... as a paint subsystem of course :-)
4 - The large, mushroom-like plant - in German they're called "pestwurz - Petasites hybridus"
5 - The rotten leaves around the river surfaceThis was a test to see if Phoenix FD and Forest Pro work together well... conclusion: They do very well :-)
