Forest Pack turned out to be the perfect solution for creating this image. Especially the Clustering features are a big improvement for realism. In addition to that, tinting and coloring the scattered objects is very easy and intuitive when using the Forestcolor features, especially for a tremendous amount of objects like in this image. Another very important aspect in my workflow is the ability to include or exclude certain areas by painting, spline areas or other forest objects - it enables absolute control in a system based on randomizing.
