ILM 3D Generalist Masayuki Koyama (小山順之) created every asset from scratch for this incredible personal project with the aim to improve his skills in modelling, texturing, layout, lighting, rendering, compositing and more!
It was a real cross-platform workflow spanning Maya and Houdini for modelling, texturing in Substance Designer and layout, and lighting and rendering in 3ds Max where he used Forest Pack extensively alongside V-Ray for rendering. Final compositing was done in Nuke.
